Meet the Owner Of Trupta Foods

Hi there! I’m Sheetal Chandvadkar, the heart and hands behind Trupta Foods. My journey as an entrepreneur didn't start in a boardroom, but in the kitchen—driven by a deep-rooted love for authentic flavors and a simple dream to build something meaningful of my own.  For me, food is more than just sustenance; it’s a way to preserve our heritage. My true passion lies in capturing those nostalgic, traditional Indian tastes and bringing them to your table in their purest, most honest form. That connection to our roots is what keeps me experimenting and perfecting new recipes every single day.  

How Trupta Foods Started?

Back in 2015, when I first decided to take the leap into business, I found my spark at local exhibitions. I wanted my stall to be different—I wanted to offer something that wasn't just another mass-produced snack. That’s how our signature Mukhwas (mouth fresheners) were born: handcrafted from home-grown ingredients, completely free from added sugar or betel nut.

I also wanted to share the incredible legacy of my mother’s and grandmother’s cooking. By following their original recipes, I began crafting Andhra-special pickles, chutneys, and spices. Before long, these flavors started winning hearts, and our small venture, originally called "Samarth Gruhyudog," began to grow. 

However, I soon realized that "Samarth" was a very common name, and I wanted an identity that truly reflected the feeling our food gives people. In Indian culture, the "left side" of the plate—the pickles and accompaniments—is what completes the meal. 

When I saw the look of pure contentment on my customers' faces after they tasted our products, only one word came to mind: Trupta (Satisfaction). Today, Trupta Foods is my promise of trust, quality, and that soulful "home-cooked" feeling in every bite.
